Camp Half Blood 2016
See last year's video HERE This year's Camp Half Blood will be at Promising Acres in Swansea MA . Unless I can find a partner for the younger kids' program, this program will be designed for ages 10+ (flexible). From the universe of Percy Jackson, join us for an excellent adventure at Camp Half-Blood.This year's program is still being developed, so stay tuned for details. Here's what we know for sure. There will be: A Quest / Storyline & Mystery Grand Melee Boffer Fight Boffer training Archery Team Competitions (Cabin vs. Cabin) We're looking for partners to teach relevant classes. Message me if you would like to be involved. (Bring your own boffer weapons which must meet official boffing regulations. Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce 105th Annual Meeting
On Thursday, February 18th, the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry will hold it's 105th Annual Meeting at Venus de Milo at 5:30 pm. The keynote address will be made by WGBH Radio host & Newspaper columnist, Margery Eagan. Ms. Eagan will address the membership about her road to success that began in Fall River. A proud Durfee High School Grad, Margery Eagan is co-host if the very popular Boston Public Radio show on FM 89.7 WGBH. She has worked with co-host Jim Braude for 18 years, first doing a TV show together at NECN then a radio show at WTKK. The duo came to WGBH in 2013. Margery Eagan also writes the Catholic spirituality column for the Boston Globe's new website, Cruxnow. She has written for her hometown paper, The Fall River Herald News, as well as the Standard Times of New Bedford, Boston Globe, Burlington Vermont Free Press, Boston Magazine, and the Boston Herald, where she wrote a column for 27 years. Margery Eagan grew up in Fall River and attended Durfee High School. In addition to an address by Margery Eagan, the meeting will include the announcement Business of the Year, the Young Entrepreneur of the Year, President's Award and the Chamber Ambassador of the Year as well as reports from 2015 Chairman, Craig Jesiolowski, who served as the Chamber Chairman in 2014 and 2015, and from Carl Garcia, who is serving as the Chamber Board Chairman for the next two year's. Registration will begin at 5:30pm and dinner will begin at 6:00pm.

Ice Weasel Elevensies
Come one, come all to Ice Weasel Elevensies!  Brush the snow from your shoulders and come take tea with me, whilst I spin a tale so great, you may think me soft!  Come celebrate the winter's blessings, and the journey toward spring's renewal!  Come enjoy the company of friends long ago seen but never forgotten!  Come test your mettle against the frost and cold as we Scour the Barony with our swords and shields, keeping eyes on the blue glow of our blades!  Our very own Lord Haakon Ragnorson will cook us a meal fit for a Barrel-rider or two, so bring your courage, your strength, your guile, and your wit, so when you travel there and back again, you may sing a bard's song of your adventures!

We will have the annual Snow Bear Pit Tourney, as well as a possible melee (if the numbers allow), as well as classes for those who wish to learn a new skill.

For your education entertainment, we will have:

Lady Marguerite:  Fingerloop Braiding
